I have known Claire for nearly 20 years which is pretty scary when you think how long that is. To photograph the wedding of a close friend is always a privilege and Claire’s was no exception. Claire and Rory totally get what I try to do, which is just capture that real story of the day and show what their love means to them.

Her choice of images and text submitted to the Any Other Woman blog illustrate this. In her blog post Claire talks about the father of the bride speech, saying:

“It was a nervous speech, read straight from a sheet of white A4, not the most articulate or witty or clever but the fact he was there, doing that for me, was astonishing really and the best wedding present he could have got me. This photo reminds me that sometimes people can surprise you and also reminds me that Rory and I are really, really loved and we are SO, so lucky for that reason.” You can see more of what Claire wrote here:

Enjoy this beautiful June day in London town. It will long live in my memory.

Thank you both. x
